Our brief was
to create a fully functional centralised accounts office for 27
staff, including a senior management team, out of a cavernous open
office within the Wilberforce Court building in central
Hull.
Departmental
demarcation was achieved by the use of Avanti ‘Designer 80 solid’
single and double-glazed full height partitioning. Existing
lighting structure was altered to accommodate the new
partitioning.
Privacy within the
senior management offices is maintained using integral operable
venation blinds within the double glazed cavities and by use of
sound proofing material within the solid partitioning.
DDA regulations
were met by using solid cherry doors (with over panels) closing
against contrasting aluminum frames, which also matched the door
furniture.
User-friendly
workstations with interactive curves are used with a combination of
aesthetically pleasing metal and wooden storage units.
Integral
workstation cable management is provided to comply with BS6396
(shown in installation section)
Complementing fabrics are used on both the desk mounted screens and
fully adjustable state of the art task seating.
